AutoEQ Headphone Fetching

  • Fixed URL encoding issue that caused "EQ data not found" errors
  • Added "Back to List" button when a fetch fails
  • Search field now clears error state automatically
  • Consolidated all profiles to oratory1990 source for reliability

Installation

  1. Install BlackHole 2ch: brew install blackhole-2ch
  2. Download and open the DMG
  3. Drag SoundMax to Applications
  4. Set system output to "BlackHole 2ch"
  5. Launch SoundMax, select your speakers, click Start

Note: If macOS blocks the app, right-click → Open → Open

  5. Launch SoundMax and select your real speakers as output
  6. Click Start and enjoy!

Notes

  • First launch: Grant microphone access when prompted (required to capture audio from BlackHole)
  • Unsigned build: Right-click → Open to bypass Gatekeeper
