Arise

Arise

The smartest way to listen, discover, and connect with sound.

Your music · Your phone · No cloud · No subscription

Scan your device once. Arise handles the rest — a home feed that knows your taste, a search that actually finds things, a player that looks as good as it sounds, and Shorts that scroll like Instagram Reels, except every reel is your music.

Why Arise

Most players just play files. Arise treats your library like a living thing.

🎧 Listen

Background playback. Lock-screen controls. Synced lyrics. Album-art gradients that shift with every track. A wave progress bar when you want something a little extra.

📱 Discover

Scroll Shorts like Reels — double-tap to like, swipe for the next vibe. Get recommendations built from your listening, not an algorithm in a data center somewhere.

🔒 Own it

Everything stays on your phone. No account. No upload. No tracking. Your files never leave your device — Arise just makes them feel incredible.

What You Get

Home — your morning briefing for music

Open Arise and it already knows the vibe. A greeting with your name. Recently played. A daily shuffle. Recommendations from real listening habits. A playlist spotlight. A Shorts preview that says "Catch a new vibe" and means it.

Empty library? It'll tell you — then point you to scan.

Shorts — Reels, but it's your library

Swipe up through tracks like you're scrolling Reels. Each one auto-plays. Double-tap sends a heart explosion. Single tap mutes. Hold to pause. Drag the seek bar when you need to skip ahead.

The side rail works the way you'd expect — Like · Playlist · Share · Save. Artist handle up top. Your avatar on the reel. Toggle between a custom video background and album art with one tap.

Play an entire playlist in Shorts straight from the playlist screen. Yeah, that exists.

Player — when you want to sit with a song

Swipe up from the mini player and you're in.

Gradients pulled from the cover art. Shuffle and repeat. Lyrics that scroll in sync — tap a line to jump there. Expand lyrics full-screen. Flip on a custom video background. Link a YouTube reference if you want context.

The wave progress bar is optional. Turn it on in Settings when you're feeling it.

Search — find it in two seconds

Type a name. Or don't — tap a card for Recent, Liked, Suggested, or Top Pick. Hashtag shortcuts like #Recent and #Liked work too. Results play instantly.

Library & Playlists — yours, organized

Grid or list. Sort by recent or oldest. Create playlists with custom covers. Pin your favorites. Reorder tracks with a long-press drag. See total duration at a glance. Edit, delete, add tracks — all there.

Music Library — where it all begins

Hit Scan Now and Arise walks your device for every audio file — animated progress, live counter, the works. Metadata gets pulled automatically (title, artist, album, year).

Then customize anything:

  • Rename tracks · swap cover art · attach a looping video
  • Import lyrics · drop in a YouTube link
  • Hide tracks from Arise without touching the actual file

The little things that add up

Side drawer Avatar → Home, Search, Vibes, Library, Music Library, Settings
Onboarding Gradient welcome screen, draggable logo, profile setup, terms acceptance
Smart listening Play counts, skips, completions — all local, powers your recommendations
Likes From the player, Shorts, or library — one tap
Mini player Always there. Artwork gradient. Tap to expand. Add to playlist in one move
Privacy No sign-up. No servers. No nonsense.

First time?

  1. Get Started → set your name and photo
  2. Open the drawer → Music LibraryScan Now
  3. Back to Home — watch it come alive
  4. Open Shorts and scroll
