This repo has been stable for years - is there no plans to ensure backwards compatibility? If there is no actual big changes adjusting to a v2 branch not only adds confusion but breaks all prior mod paths for seeminly no reason other than vanity of changing the pkg name...

all the backward compatible improvements and fixes will be added to the current naming and under 1 major version

parity with rust and js SDKs is going into v2 branch, because those changes are not backward compatible
