Summary

• Release GERM v0.3.0 with the loopback-only Cosmoaudition bridge, explicit mappings, local archives, and dashboard modules.
• Add bounded Matter Analysis and optional MASA 0.1 sidecars while keeping Sonic Lineage sound_id canonical.
• Harden recorder shutdown, zero-gain previews, missing-data handling, spectral aggregation, lineage validation, and persisted companion state.
• Remove confirmed dead dashboard helpers and synchronize all release metadata.

Why

The recent observatory and sonic-matter work needed a complete integration pass. This release makes unavailable, errored, stale, and zero-valued observations distinct, prevents fabricated neutral values, and closes recorder and analysis reliability gaps.

Impact and boundaries

Cosmoaudition remains loopback-only. MASA sidecar failures cannot invalidate successful app work. The live external Cosmo service was intentionally absent; its unavailable state was verified. Only app code, configuration, tests, and canonical release documentation are included. No audit reports, plans, screenshots, caches, or QA artifacts are part of the commit.

• JavaScript and shell syntax passed
• OpenAPI has 83 paths, 97 operations, and no duplicate operation IDs
• Desktop and mobile browser QA completed without console warnings or errors

Dependency note

The core installed dependency set produced no audit finding. The optional upstream Stable Audio 3 Python provider currently pins torch 2.7.1; its current upstream main branch retains that exact pin. This release does not apply an unsupported PyTorch override that could silently break provider compatibility.
