@koettert could you please have a look? At the moment, geospatial is one of the largest extensions as it does not make use of the env sharing, putting an unnecessary 3GB on the user's hard drive. This small PR should help to reduce this size |

I had conflicts with this PR. So I created another branch and added your changes there. I than did run pixi update and committed the changes to the pixi.toml and pixi.lock file. Hope that is fine. This is the PR #427 |
