Purpose

Adds the NVIDIA Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) Driver pack for GPU allocation in Kubernetes 1.32+.

Features

  • Dynamic GPU allocation using DeviceClass and ResourceClaim
  • CEL-based GPU selection
  • GPU sharing support
  • ComputeDomains for Multi-Node NVLink (MNNVL)

Dependencies

  • Kubernetes 1.32+ (experimental), 1.34+ (GA)
  • nvidia-gpu-operator 25.3.0+ (optional)

Validated Scenarios

  • Project: ISC-Strategic-Alliance, Cluster: dra-134-test, OCI registry: isctest2, pack: NVIDIA DRA Driver for GPUs 25.8.1
  • Basic GPU allocation with ResourceClaim
  • GPU sharing across multiple pods
  • Integration with nvidia-gpu-operator pack
