I'm sure the Kompsat test failure has nothing to do with your changes, but some of Nick's recent updates that might not have made it into your branch yet. I'll go ahead and merge, and hopefully the tests will pass in the merged version. |

I've added the most recent batch of USGS variometers to the gmag.py script (expanding array containing variometer station names). There should be no further changes. Closes #1341.
