Why is OpenSource important to me?

As a passionate 🐧Linux user, there is no getting around Open Source.
Wether it's small improvements for the GNOME desktop (🖥 Dash to Dock) or big / known / important projects in the Debian environment (📁 Nautilus).
In the Linux world, Open Source Software is not just an attitude but also a principle that everyone should actually follow.
After all, we as users are also responsible for which products will be successful and, above all, which data is collected from us.
