Hi, I’m Swastik Baranwal — an open-source developer focused on developer tooling, compilers, and sustainable FOSS.

I’m a contributor to The V Programming Language and the creator of Box CLI Maker, a popular Go library for building rich CLI UIs, used by Kubernetes’ minikube ☸️ I also maintain Catppuccin for V as part of the catppuccin theme ecosystem.

Recently, I’ve been active in the WebDriver ecosystem, contributing features and fixes to Selenium, WebdriverIO, and Appium to make browser and mobile automation more reliable and developer-friendly 🤹‍♂️

Beyond writing code, I’m involved in open-source governance, tooling, and infrastructure, collaborating on OSPO initiatives, CLIs, TUIs, and developer platforms, including work with charmbracelet and the TODO Group.

My work has been featured by GitHub Open Source Friday 🎙️, the Open Source Initiative (OSI) 💚, and the GitHub Maintainer Month Library :octocat: I’ve also contributed to the OSPOlogy BoF and the OSPO Book 📔

I’ve volunteered and contributed to major open-source events including GopherCon (2024, 2025), KaiCode 2024, and served on the program committee for Open Source Japan 2025 — and I continue to stay deeply involved in the global OSS ecosystem.

@Delta456

It would be fabulous if you could sponsor me. A small amount will make a big difference and motivate me further to work on open source and also help me to purchase technical books or setups which help me ease the work.
