Hello, I’m eldryoth.

I spend my time at the intersection of high-performance engineering and sovereign-first infrastructure. My work focuses on building tools that are not only secure and resilient but also fast enough to push the boundaries of what we expect from modern, decentralized systems.

What I’m Building

Most of my open-source energy is dedicated to the "Heim" ecosystem, a suite of tools designed for a future where we own our infrastructure:

  • Fluxheim: A modular, high-performance web server framework built on Pingora, focused on speed and reliability.
  • Aetherheim: The latest evolution in my sovereign-first toolkit, expanding the boundaries of how we handle distributed systems and cloud-native performance.
  • Performance Crates: Like base64-ng, utilizing SIMD-acceleration for those who need every microsecond.
  • System Tooling: From IDML parsers to visual hash representations, I enjoy solving the complex "boring" problems that make digital life smoother.

I’m obsessed with the "sovereign-first" approach, ensuring that our data and infrastructure remain under our own control, hosted on secure, high-performance foundations.

Why Sponsor Me?

Writing code to bridge the gap between reality and the void requires two things: a lot of coffee and stable, high-performance infrastructure.

Your sponsorship helps cover the costs of the European-based infrastructure I use for development, testing, and CI/CD. It also allows me to dedicate more "deep work" hours to maintaining my crates and expanding the Fluxheim and Aetherheim ecosystems.

Whether you're here because you use my Rust tools, you're interested in sovereign tech, or you just appreciate a well-optimized SIMD implementation, I appreciate the support.

Let’s keep building in the light, so we don't get lost in the void. 🌌

I will undergo a procedure to replace my own immune system with a custom-built Rust-based firewall. I'll be the only person on earth who can literally "drop" a common cold packet-by-packet before it reaches my lungs.

Maintaining a presence in the void requires a permanent address. Most of my projects, including Fluxheim and Aetherheim, maintain both .com and .eu domains to ensure global reach and European data sovereignty. you are essentially covering the annual registration and renewal costs for one of these domains. You’re helping keep the "Heim" ecosystem reachable, independent, and secure for another year.
