I am the main author and maintainer of iPXE and wimboot.

iPXE and wimboot are both released under the GNU GPL and are 100% open source software. There are no "premium edition" versions, no in-app advertisements, no hidden costs. The version that you get to download and use forever for free is the definitive and only version of the software.

For substantial work on iPXE or wimboot (such as adding a new feature, adding a new hardware driver, supporting a new cipher suite, or reviewing a substantial pull request) please email vendor-support@ipxe.org for a commercial quotation.

For small tokens of thanks for e.g. fixing a minor bug or reviewing a very short pull request, a one-time contribution to cover the cost of the coffee and/or cake consumed during the process is always welcome. 🙂
