I have been part of the Erlang Open Source community ever since its inception in 1998, and it has been a wonderful ride. I have been fortunate to see a number of my components see widespread use, but this also brings the responsibility of trying to ensure that they stay current, and ideally improve over time.
As a freelance consultant, I often have to prioritize other work. I encourage you to propose targeted consultancy projects where I can focus on improving my components, but your sponsorship would allow me to set aside time to do the necessary work regardless of where my consultancy happens to take me.
