The library jsonschema2pojo, which is used by apikana-java to generate java classes from the json schema, has introduced a breaking change in 1.0.0-alpha3 (fbf456f). They now require a property "existingJavaType" to be present for references, otherwise they will also generate the referenced types, which leads to duplicated java classes (see also issue 1152). Once apikana sets that property, we could proceed to provide the mentioned PR for the library.
Would it be possible, that apikana could generate this new property in the json schema?
