I do not use currently this but I'm planning to with a VCC 1212-30.
I would also like to get a smart shunt without control panel (no place to show it).

Thus, both of these devices can be controlled with a panel.
VCC 1212-30 could only be configured to limit the current.
The Smart shunt settings (battery type, capacity...) should be configured with the panel.

So what's the state of control buttons ?
Is it possible to send commands ?

I add https://github.com/Esylias to the conversation as I have read that he [still?] has the same devices.
