Special Environments

As aforementioned, MaTiSSe.py supports some special environments as helpers for some special contents handling.

Presently the special environments supported are:

• Columns environment;
• Box environment, that has 3 sub-class environments for more specialized contents:
  • Figure environment;
  • Table environment;
  • Note environment;
• Checklist environment.

The Columns environment can contain any other data, whereas the Box-like environments can contain any valid markdown source, the metadata, their own specific contents, etc..., but they cannot contain the Columns environment.

There is a hierarchy:

• Columns environment can contain anything, also other environments;
  • Box-like environments can contain anything, except the Columns one.
