To use a VRM avatar, in the startup menu of Mondeto,

  1. enter path to your VRM file to the "Avatar" field,
  2. press the "Set" button,
  3. read the license information displayed in the window,

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

VRM avatars are copyrighted works, which is licensed under various conditions (e.g. you can or cannot redistribute, or you can or cannot use for commercial purposes). When using VRM avatars, please follow their licenses, and respect rights such as copyright.

Additionally, because Mondeto is an open-source software, your avatar data may be copied by others using malicious modified nodes (clients or servers). Therefore, if you are using avatars whose redistribution is prohibited (including most of avatars sold for fee), please avoid connecting to untrusted servers or clients, or servers that have untrusted users.
