…ssions but override the user to root. Seems that is not supported, with this modification the DirectoryProducer will preserve the permissions of files and directories. Requieres jdk1.7

Usually I would create a tgz with the right permissions - and they would be preserved. |

This will be supported in jdeb 2.x but I fear 1.x will have to stay java 1.6 compatible. |

I've starting using the awesome lib for ant a couple of weeks ago. But if I not wrong, the most simple usage is not supported:
I want to preserve the permissions of the files in my directory, and override the user to root as usual in any installed app... I've tried to do this in a easy way but for me was absolutely impossible... I've added some changes to preserve the permissions...
