Investigated this one - it's not mergeable yet, and it's not something we can fix in this repo.

TypeScript 7 is a full rewrite (the "typescript-go"/native-compiler port): the published package is now ESM-only and its exports map no longer includes the classic ./lib/tsc (or any other) internal path that vue-tsc relies on to drive type-checking. Running vue-tsc --noEmit against this branch fails immediately with:

Error [ERR_PACKAGE_PATH_NOT_EXPORTED]: Package subpath './lib/tsc' is not defined by "exports" in .../typescript/package.json

This isn't a version-pinning problem - I tried the latest vue-tsc (3.3.10, up from the ^1.0.12 this repo currently uses) and it fails identically, because vue-tsc's whole architecture (via @volar/typescript) is built on TypeScript's classic Program/LanguageService API, which doesn't exist in this form in TS 7's restructured package. There's no vue-tsc prerelease targeting TS 7 either.

This needs vue-tsc (and by extension @volar/typescript) to ship a release that targets TypeScript 7's new API surface before this bump is viable. Holding until then - closing/reopening isn't necessary, it can just sit until the tooling catches up.
