I am a software engineer and supervisor at the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC). I have a background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and I am the co-creator of the software that produces QGreenland. In my role at NSIDC, I work with cross-functional teams composed of scientists, projects and programs leads, data operations specialists, and systems administrators to help design and implement full-stack software architectures for science data processing, publication and archival, and analysis and visualization. I also act as lead developer for NOAA@NSIDC sea ice products (e.g., the Sea Ice Index) and I provide scientific data reviews for one of the NASA NSIDC DAAC's data publication teams.
