Stranger to Omelas is a point & click adventure currently in development that is focused on narrative and character dialogue discovered through exploring the world.

Based on the short story “The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas” by Ursula LeGuin, you play as a stranger, an outside observer of the city of seemingly utopian city of Omelas. Exploration and interaction with NPCs and the world reveal that Omelas’ beauty is at the price of a scapegoat–the lone child who suffers for the benefit of everyone in the city.

The choices that you make and how you interact with people in the city reveals the ending that your attitude has drawn you to–staying in the city, attempting to change society, or simply leaving.
