New features and updates

  • Technology level now goes up to 20. Previous maximum was 10.
  • New UI scaling for HiDPI displays.
  • Starmap view has two new zoom levels, total of 5 different zoom levels.
  • News Corporation view has been redesigned.
  • Research view shows help when opened without any focus on technology.
  • Research view has white glow on small technology buttons, so those should be easier to spot.
  • New Space Race called: Parlameks, robotic race with diplomatic and trading focus.
  • Ship hulls and ship components are now loaded from JSON.
  • Custom races may now have custom diplomatic music.
  • AI should try to win with ascension victory.
  • Possibility to skip certain type of messages in star map view.

Bugfixes

  • Most of the images are now loaded when actually needed, not at start. This should lower the memory requirements a bit.
  • Fixed news titles: Some of these were too long to actually fit in news screen.
  • Fleets never moved over space anomaly when using automated move.
  • Fixed bug where too many lines were print on bombing view.
  • Add missing menu clicks news view, research view, leaders view and ship view.
  • Fixes issue where next level of rare technology could not be researched.

  • Orbitals was shown wrong size on starmap if zoomed out or in
  • Smaller orbital cannot be built if bigger one exists.

  • Alonian space race is no longer. It's main feature is now as a starting scenario available for each space race.

Bugfixes

  • Realm wide espionage is now called intelligence. Commander doing espionage on planets is called espionage.
  • Fleet commander did not gains statistics for finding planets.
  • Fleet commander did not get experience by finding planets.
  • Ruler got too easily negotiator perk when doing diplomatic trades.
  • Fleet commander did not gains statistics for trading.

  • Starmap view is drawn only for tiles which are changing. This improves performance on starmap.
  • When leader gains level and perks, it got explanation what perk and how it was gained.

Bugfixes

  • AI Attitude is now from SpaceRace or from ruler. No longer random one.
  • Bombing with privateer ship is no long war declaration, since privateers are considered unknown ships.
  • Governor is no longer required to build orbital.
  • Fix bug where AI was calculating military alliance military powers wrongly.
  • Fix negative star years in research view. Researching always now takes at least one turn.
  • Obsoleting ship design now stops planets building that even planet view is not viewed.
  • Fix NPE from Ambient lights control.
