Ouster’s lidar sensor output four data layers for each pixel with a 1:1 spatial correspondence of points: Range, Signal, Near-IR, and Reflectivity. With Ouster's Python SDK, it’s pretty easy and fast to combine the data with YOLOv5 to program and experiment with object detection and distance tracking outputs.
