I think that it is needed. I know that this list is small... though I hope and I'm making the deeds to expand it.
And I hope I chose an appropriate place to put this list : P.
I'm really motivated to expand your repo and mine too. I might even need help on how to promote this repo more. I'll be adding a contribution section probably tomorrow
