Since August 2023, I have been working full time at Nova Scotia health as a Research statistician π». My work mainly involves managing neuroimaging datasets and conducting statistical analyses to predict the onset of depression using multimodal data (brain images, clinical questionnaires). I use linear mixed models, survival analysis and machine learning (XGBoost, survival random forests & CNNs).
In 2023, I completed a Msc in Medical Neuroscience π, where I studied the association of the brain's functional connectivity and familial risk for mood disorders.

Before I delved in statistics and machine learning, way back in 2017, I had studied fiction at New York University, where I also taught fiction to undergraduate students in 2018 & 2019. I maintain the website for a mental health nonprofit, Project AKILI.
