Repository files navigation

introducing coco ೀ⋆。˚

an AI powered Chrome Extension that helps you plan, track and organize your job applications

How does Coco work?

  • Find a job you like? Navigate to that page and let Coco autofill the necessary information - or choose to manually input it yourself.

  • Your saved jobs will initially be uncategorized, and can be organized into relevant, easy to navigate folders with one click.

  • Now that you have jobs saved, use Coco's resume analyzer feature. Simply upload a PDF of your resume and receive an immediate plan of action based on your resume and job wishlist.

Installation instructions

  1. Clone this repo or download the zip file
  2. Go to chrome://extensions/
  3. Make sure "Developer mode" is switched on
  4. Click "Load unpacked" and upload the coco folder
  5. Pin the extension, and use it!

Note: You'll need to have your own API key (+ some Claude credits) to use Coco ☺︎

Tech stack:

  • Built with HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. AI features powered by Claude.

Currently working on...

  • Reducing API costs
    • recent update: updated flow to add a new job into unnamed folder -> then user can re-categorize at any time, instead of automatically calling claude to auto-categorize every time user adds a new job (allows for adding lots of jobs without recategorizing, reducing api credits especially if user already has a lot of jobs stored up)
  • Cleaning up UI
  • Fixing bugs and improving UX
