As discussed id like to tidy up this code a bit, but good to have a test run with this change!

As discussed id like to tidy up this code a bit, but good to have a test run with this change!

I've run sw_usb_audio analogue and dac output tests for the 1AMi2o2xxxxxx configuration, with the test times increased to 20mins per configuration, with this change and they pass.
