[BUG] Inline Color: changing Background also changes Text color (overwrites/resets existing text colors)

Bug description

When using the inline color picker, changing the Background color is applied incorrectly: it also changes the text color (or resets multiple existing text colors inside the selection).
In other words, the “Background” action behaves like “Background + Text color overwrite”.

Expected: selecting a color under Background changes only the background/highlight of the selected text and keeps existing text color unchanged.
Actual: background change also modifies text color (or collapses multiple text colors into a single one).

Steps to reproduce

1. Create text with different text colors applied to different parts.
2. Select the text.
3. Open the inline toolbar → open the color picker.
4. Switch to the Background tab.
5. Pick any background color.
6. Observe that the text color changes/resets along with the background.
