There's literally nothing to see here, the differences between gc-eu-dbg-2 (aka formerly gc-eu-dbg-proto) and gc-eu-dbg are details in the french and german message data

I'm still not sold on naming this -proto, but I have no suggestion other than naming it -2 or something

This is really the best time to pick other names
If we had to name one -2 it'd be the latter build currently named gc-eu-dbg, this is the earlier one
-early is the same amount of letters

Note for future me: I forgot to add the version to the readme

iirc we get this rom later than the other debug rom. We could consider naming roms in the order they have appeared into the internet, as a way to avoid the case where a newer, even earlier, debug rom surfaces and needing to rename the other two.

-early sounds fine too, but I'm worried about the minuscule possibility for an -even-earlier rom surfacing someday

Rationale: first version to make it into decomp (which should also be the first one that surfaces) gets an un-numbered version name, then the second version gets -2, and so on

I decided to name this version gc-eu-dbg-2 and keep the other as gc-eu-dbg

Reasoning:
The first rom that surfaced is gc-eu-dbg, as well as being the first rom of the two to make it into decomp (two facts that should conveniently stay correlated in the future). So the first rom gets no suffix.
Later roms get a -N suffix
