Improvements

  • Added option to disable the facial landmark filtering step.
  • Improved filter. Now it should be a little bit more responsive than before.
  • Improved camera support.
  • User can now change the FPS of the tracking by editing prefs.ini file. This is a temporary workarround for some users who found the tracking a little bit choppy. Keep in mind that the higher the FPS, the higher the CPU consumption. 30 FPS should be working well for most users.

Solved bugs

  • Fixed a bug which caused the program to crash if the camera did not support 480p resolution (mentioned in #11 and #14). Thanks, @rbroker.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a delay during AITrack's startup and on the beggining of the tracking.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the view to jump arround randomly without control.
  • Fixed a bug which could cause random view jumps just after launching AITrack while using the landmark stabilization filter.
  • Fixed a bug which could (potentially) cause Windows ASR rule to mark the program as ransomware (#12).

How to update if you were using the previous version

Simply download,unzip and then, copy your old prefs.ini into the new folder (next to the new AITrack.exe).

Keep in mind this version is an alpha and bugs/malfunctions could be present. In case you encounter any issue, please, post it on the issues section or join our discord server.
