"Wish upon a star, and then act properly, in accordance with that aim. Once you are aligned with the heavens, you can concentrate on the day."
β Dr. Jordan B. Peterson
Greetings, Everyone! I am Adrita Khan, a graduate of the University of Science, Malaysia (USM), with a major in Physics and a minor in Astronomy.
I am currently:
- Full-time Research Assistant at the Center for Computational and Data Sciences (CCDS), Independent University, Bangladesh
- Part-time Research Assistant at the Center for Astronomy, Space Science, and Astrophysics (CASSA), Independent University, Bangladesh
- Remote Research Assistant at the Centre for Astro-Particle Physics (CAPP), University of Johannesburg, South Africa
- Student Research Collaborator, Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics, University of Toronto
- Teaching Assistant at North South University, Bangladesh for PHY107 and PHY108 (Spring 2025)
I am actively pursuing MSc and Ph.D. opportunities within STEM fields. My work lies at the intersection of theoretical physics, computational applications, and observational astronomy, incorporating advanced computational methods to gain new insights into astrophysics and bridging the gap between theory and empirical observations.
I'm currently working on multiple projects including Modified Gravity, Particle Jet Tagging, Gamma Ray Burst Redshift Estimation, RFI Detection and Mitigation in Radio Astronomy, Signal Processing, and ML Applications in Interdisciplinary Fields.
I strongly believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a collaborative scientific community through impactful research and meaningful collaborations.
