In half a year, we'll need to bump this to 20.04 to keep up with the latest LTS release |

4 years has passed since the release of ubuntu 16.04 and in 1 year its end of life will be reached. Now that version 20.04 is also released, it might be a good time to decide about the fate of this PR and probably support 20.04. |
