How to cite plugin?

We do not have a separate paper for this plugin; it often undergoes development.

Therefore, there are two ways to do it, depending on the journal policy:

  1. You can cite it by providing a direct link to the code, pointing out the version, like this:

"lifetimes were extracted using PTU_Reader v.X.X.X plugin for ImageJ (https://github.com/UU-cellbiology/PTU_Reader)."

and specify the parameters used.

  1. Alternatively, you can use Zenodo DOI for the link to the specific release:

_Katrukha E. 2017, PTU_Reader plugin for ImageJ, vX.X.X, Zenodo, doi:10.5281/zenodo.16928453
