Summary

Field test #10 (Just Perfection) revealed two false positives when running ego-lint on a src/ subdirectory:

  • License check: ego-lint.sh now checks the parent directory for LICENSE/COPYING when basename is src (FAIL → PASS)
  • UUID-dir match: check-metadata.py skips the UUID-directory comparison when dirname is src (meaningless for src/ layout)

Also includes the field test #10 report documenting all findings across the 3 related PRs.

Closes #26

Test plan

  • New fixture src-license-fallback@test with LICENSE in parent dir
  • 455 tests pass (452 baseline + 3 new)
  • Verify no regressions on other field-tested extensions

the parent directory. Also, the UUID-dir match warning is meaningless
when dirname is "src".

- ego-lint.sh: check parent dir for LICENSE when basename is "src"
- check-metadata.py: skip UUID-dir comparison when dirname is "src"
