Despite our intentions to halt active SPAdes development, here is the new SPAdes 4.1 release.
In this release we made the following changes:
- Reduced RAM consumption in pared-read links distance estimation algorithm (#1425);
- Improved k-mer mapper performance (#1419, used in read-to-graph mapping);
- Reduced RAM consumption in repeat resolving module (#1420);
- PathRacer and BinSPreader now support GFA 1.2 as input (#1405);
- Fixed GFA loading (#1423);
- Minor bug-fixes (thanks to @douglasgscofield #1375 and @bzizou #1314).
