This PR aims to address issue 1230: Support for more recent versions of Amazon Linux (2023.6).

It also incorporates the seeip.org unreachable fix from #1252, which aims to address Issue 1241.

Changes have been tested on AWS AL2023 2023.6 (ami-050cd642fd83388e4), where the following complete successfully:

  1. Script installation
  2. Local client connection via generated .opvn file
  3. Local IP address matches remote host IP (via api.seeip.org).

@angristan - any thoughts on adding Amazon Linux 2023 (AL2023) to the list of supported OSes - Issue 1230, addressed by this PR?

Amazon Linux 2 has an end of life of 6/30/2026, and AL2023 has an eol of 6/30/2029. Would be great to be able to use this script with AL2023 if possible.
