Welcome to the Octi's wiki!

Octi is based on two core elements:

• Information modules (modules) that provide features, e.g. battery data.

• Synchronization connectors (syncs) that facilitate data exchange, e.g. by uploading/download data from Google Drive.

When an information module publishes new data (e.g. because the battery status changes), the information is forwarded to the all syncs, which in turn upload the data to their choice of storage (e.g. Google Drive).

Other devices using the same sync will download that data, forward it to the corresponding module, which then decodes the data and finally allows it to be displayed.
