Logging

If you open the iOS device settings application and scroll down to DronePan then one of the options you will see there (if you have a new enough build) is Remote Debug Logging

This switch allows you to tell the application to send all of the same logging that you can get to via the Copy log to clipboard button on the settings view but to send it online in real time.

This will assist us in debugging issues that people are having using the application.

If you are having a problem then contact us first - either via the Facebook group or pop into our gitter.im channel.

We'll ask you to turn this on and repeat the tests and then when complete we'll ask you to turn it off again.

The reason for this is that the service we are using for this is a paid for service and we are using the free tier.

As a free open source project - we do not have a budget that allows us to go for a paid tier with more logging capacity.

This means that we have a fairly small quota. If everyone turns this on we will blow that quota fairly fast and that will mean further logs will be ignored until the next month.

Currently the free tier gives us searchability back 48 hours, and archive up to 7 days. This is another reason you need to be talking to us when using this - the data will be gone if you log then tell us a week later.
