OpenQuake 0.5 Risk Fragility_Consequence_Function_Based_Risk_Assessment

bwyss edited this page Mar 16, 2011 · 2 revisions

The fragility and consequence function based risk assessment uses discrete or continuous fragility functions to calculate the probability of attaining a number of different damage states (e.g. none, slight, moderate, extensive, complete) given an intensity measure level, and discrete consequence functions (these are related to the fragility functions and provide the probability of loss given a damage state).

Assumptions

  • Assumption X
  • Assumption Y

Design

The design of the component or model is described in detail here. Use complete sentences and paragraph breaks. Don't describe implementation details here.

User stories:

  • Some user should be able to X.
  • Some user needs to be able to Y.

Suggested Implementation

Describe here how the component or module will be implemented. Please be detailed, but note that it is only a suggestion, actual implementation details will be hammered out at the Design Summit and also on the mailing list. Use complete sentences and paragraph breaks.
