I don't know if we want to merge this, but this is something @naterush and I worked on at the sprints, and it is a good demo of what can be done with the solara pytest plugin (see https://solara.dev/docs/howto/testing )
Note that we can only run against notebook and lab since voila and solara ship their own jupyter widgets version.
