This release is the last of LucasChessR2 (continued on LucasChessR6), will only have updates for bug fixes or language updates or stockfish updates. It has an extensive beta testing by Eric and Stefan. New eboard driver by Graham Chessnut Move.

Added

  • Databases, Config, option to change the height of the rows.
  • Databases, Config, option to define the move that appears on the board when selecting a game.
  • Game analysis, detection of some tactical themes (a few and not perfect).
  • Databases/Import/option to import a PGN from the clipboard.
  • Maia engine added new level 2200.
  • Sounds, added offer of draw and resignation by the engine.
  • The representation of the movement on the board can be done with an arrow or with origin and destination boxes. Modifiable in Options/General configuration/Boards: The movement made is shown using boxes. The colour used is the same as the colour of the main arrow.
  • Support for LiChess graphical elements in pgn comments. It has to be activated in Options/General configuration/Boards/When position has graphic information option Show graphics.
  • Opening lines/Training/Sequential with comments enabled, option to not show a comment again (during the current training session)
  • Memorize a game, option to present the movements randomly.
  • eBoards (by Graham O'Neill): new driver Chessnut Move.

Fixed

  • Playing against any engine, Play as long as you make no mistakes mode, bad evaluation when playing with a starting position different from the standard position.
  • Databases, the movement of columns is not saved from one time to the next.
  • Databases, edit a game, "Help to move" this option is missing.
  • General configuration/Appearance 1+2/By default does not work.
  • Showing variations, the capture material is no updated.
  • Analysis bar, the fixed time indication is not recorded correctly.
  • Analysing a move, the stop button does not work on Linux.
  • Expeditions to Everest, if "Show NAGS" is active don't work.
  • Opening lines, fails exporting a line.
  • 2.21-FP-1: Databases, export to CSV, after creating the file does not launch the application.
  • 2.21-FP-2: Databases, Massive analysis, priority is not included.
  • 2.21-FP-2: Variations, right mouse button does not work.
  • 2.21-FP-3: Databases in Linux, the Configuration button does not work.
  • 2.21-FP-3: Premove does not work. (linea 1181 en ManagerPlayAgainst, premove None -> "")
  • 2.21-FP-3: Analysis windows, button to go to the previous movement does not work.
  • 2.21-FP-4: The key F11 does not expand the programme window to fill the whole screen.
  • 2.21-FP-4: Your daily test: only the first movement works.
  • 2.21-FP-5: Displaying analysis, tooltips with information about the movement corresponding to the point on the graph are not displayed.
  • 2.21-FP-6: Linux, change in the launcher to also run the programme when using Wayland.
  • 2.21-FP-6: Internal change to control uci options of engines.
  • 2.21-FP-7: Opening Lines, change in tree moves panel, not shown on the board.
  • 2.21-FP-7: In the game information table, with the pgn, the width of the labels with the captures is wrong.
  • 2.21-FP-8: eBoards (by Graham O'Neill): fixes the Square Off Pro connection issue.
  • 2.21-FP-8: Playing against any engine, the Advice option is not working properly.
  • 2.21-FP-8: When the game analysis is performed, the analysis bar works at the same time. From now on, it is deactivated and reactivated at the end.
  • 2.21-FP-8: Tournaments between engines, When importing external engines, the alias is changed to the name.
  • 2.21-FP10: Editing variations with the analysis bar activated when closing may cause the programme to close unexpectedly.

Updated

  • Databases, Config, Column configuration, shortcut = ALT+C, by executing the shortcut, it allows to directly select the saved configurations by name.
  • Databases, massive analysis, added a button to pause.
  • System crash prevention when playing games (e.g. in case of power failure, the game played is included in the list of adjourns), option to enable or disable it is added in the Options/General configuration/General. By default it is activated.
  • Databases/Filter/Standard, two new conditions, is empty or not.
  • Saving PGN has added the option to include the seven standard tags.
  • eBoards (by Graham O'Neill): For Windows updated the BLE library to its latest version. For Linux replaced the SimpleBLE library with the ipWorksBLE.
  • 2.21-FP-7: Opening Lines, the board displays the graphics indicated in comments as in LiChess.
