Github

Repository located here: https://github.com/maxlever/electric-barnacle/

We will use this Git repository to store and exchange all of our code. We will also use a Github wiki as our primary documentation for our development and construction process, project summary and updates, and meeting minutes.

Trello

We will use Trello to keep updated on the status of each individual task and issue in the project. Tasks will be assigned team members and due dates, and each team member will be able to keep track of how other categories of work are going, see whether pieces have been completed or will be delayed, and note specific steps that will be collaborative between team members. We will use a color-coded or tagging system to differentiate tasks.

Pinterest

We will use Pinterest to keep track of visual inspiration for initial ideation and other artistic aspects of the project going forward.

Communication

We will be using the messaging capacities of our class's Slack channel and Facebook Messenger to communicate when working remotely. Code updates will be transmitted through Github, but if there are any other types of file (e.g. images, diagrams) that need to be transmitted, we will do this by uploading them to Slack, Facebook Messenger, or Google Drive. Additionally, any presentation materials or formal documents will be uploaded to Google Drive.

Meetings

We will set up a weekly meeting schedule as soon as next term begins. We plan to have one meeting at the same time every week, with additional meetings planned on an as-needed basis. These meetings will discuss progress over the past week, planned progress for the next week, and an evaluation of the task list on Trell. Any tasks that have been added or modified between meetings will be brought to the group's attention at these meetings. We will keep minutes for these meetings, available on our Github wiki.
