This also reverts the earlier enforced Long Press Delay from v0.82, as it is no longer needed with the latest OTA and was causing issues for some users.

v0.82: Enforced Long Press Delay for Minimal Phone OTA "2025 July 5" Release

Not recommended unless alt+key and key long presses are not working correctly.

Adds a delay before considering a key repeat a long press; the Minimal Quick Settings accessibility service shipped with the Minimal Phone "2025 July 5" OTA will occasionally send a rapid-fire number of key repeats in a very short timeframe, resulting in instantly inserting the alt layer for a key (for our keyboard) or repeating keys (for other keyboards.)

v0.81: Force Alt-layer option for latest Minimal Phone OTA "2025 July 5" Release

Not recommended unless alt+key and key long presses are not working correctly.

A quick hack to restore alt-key features with the latest Minimal Phone OTA. The latest OTA seems to have broken the alt key map for the keyboard; if this is the case, the introduction of a new alt key service for Gboard (and presumably the built in keyboard) may be why they didn't notice.

Currently traveling, but will refactor and clean this solution up when I return.

v0.79: Back-button Passthrough

Pass "back" button presses through instead of dismissing an invisible IME.

v0.78: Cyrillic layer support

Added a layer for Cyrillic (thanks to nikitauchaev).

Once enabled under "Additional characters" it can be toggled with right-shift long press.

v0.77.2 - Æ ligature fix for Scandinavian modifier templates

Quick fix so Ae will also become Æ when ligatures are enabled instead of requiring both letters to be capitalized.

v0.77.1 - Dark Mode fixes

Fixes dark mode causing settings to crash.

The emoji/clipboard/symbol picker remains right even in dark mode.

v0.76: Emojis on the Unlock Screen

Confirmed the popup to keyboard view refactor fixed many of the issues some users were seeing. Fixed some lingering preference settings that used the wrong store, which was leading to inconsistent results.

EmojiPicker on password entry support is more important in preventing crashes than emojis in passwords, but it's theoretically possible now.

Major refactor of the popup manager logic and settings to hopefully address the issues some users are encountering:

The Emoji picker now works at the lock screen before you unlock your phone.
