Navigation
Argosy is designed for controllers. Touch works but isn't the focus.
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| D-pad / Left Stick | Move selection |
| A | Select / Confirm |
| B | Back / Cancel |
| X / Y | Quick actions (context-dependent) |
| Start | Options / Context menu |
| Shoulders | Tab or section navigation |
The guide bar at the bottom shows available actions for the current screen and tucks away when there's nothing useful to say.
In settings and menus, multi-option rows cycle with Left/Right, and A opens a full picker listing every option. L3 opens the quick menu (search, random, recents); R3 opens quick settings (brightness, volume, theme, and device toggles).
Use the sidebar to switch between sections; it shows your profile and, when connected to Argosy Social, per-friend actions. Controller: Start or Select to open. Touch: swipe from edge or tap hamburger.
If you're already at the leftmost UI boundary, pressing Left also opens the sidebar.
Settings adapt to orientation: pinned section headers in portrait, a side rail in landscape.
Your curated starting point. Pinned favorites, recently played, and recommendations. Launch into a game quickly without digging through your full library.
The complete view of your games, organized by platform. Browse, filter, and manage everything synced from RomM.
Custom cross-platform groupings. Create themed lists (e.g., "RPGs to finish", "Co-op games") for quick access and batch downloads.
Active and completed downloads from your RomM server. Monitor progress, retry failures, manage the queue.
Installed Android apps on your device. Launch other apps without leaving Argosy.
Configure once, forget about it. Display options, emulator assignments, RomM connection, input mapping, and more.
| Gesture | Action |
|---|---|
| Double-tap empty area | Open the Quick Menu (close again with another double-tap) |
The Quick Menu is the same overlay you'd reach by clicking the L3 stick on a controller — handy when you don't have a gamepad attached.
