Just let GoDDNS determine the IP addresses and use curl for updates:
curl -4 https://dyn.example.org/v1/?key=foo
curl -6 https://dyn.example.org/v1/?key=foo
The IPv4 call can usually be done from any machine behind your gateway/firewall/router. For IPv6, you usually want to have the exact IPv6 of the gateway and therefore need to run the command there.
