About The Pull Request
Minimal re-arrangement of the cockpit, mirroring the FC vendors with the Telecoms array and gun cabinet; putting the non-point regenerating vendor in the corner and the gun cabinet near the door to open up a little more movement around the door if its opened or removed.
Flips the medical and engineering areas as well as the cryosleep and preparations area in a way, completely remixing the areas. The medical area specifically now has chemistry capabilities while the squad leader vendors are now with the rest of the specialist vendors in the main preparations area.
Removed: an outdated intercom object, the inaccessible weapons vendor, a single premade loadout, standard loadout vendor and surplus clothing vendor. Added a loader with 2 mounts to choose where to place a HMG have been added a well as a motor bike and gas (with explicitly no side seat), 3 "swag" surplus boxes that are normally found near the nuke war dropship or requisitions containing random weapons, and finally the zombie crash requisitions vendor.
Re-arranged starting spawns for faster preparation flow, preserving the medical doctor spawns as well as adding an extra standard marine spawn to increase the count from 12 to 13 and a corporate liaison spawn because funny.
Why It's Good For The Game
Medical was narrow and cramped with marines always having to break down windows and walls to make it usable, the reworked space is overall more desirable for everyone as well as having added chemistry utilities.
The cyrosleep and preparations area on the other hand was borderline schizophrenic with a weapons vendor that couldn't be accessed whatsoever. There was no flow in the crowded space with both of the standard loadout vendors blocked the path to specialist vendors, the only custom loadout vendor being in a place that often got it destroyed, latejoins in the cyrosleep nook having an in-optimal path to food and preparation options, with the synth vendor being haphazardly mixed in dead center of the already high traffic path.
adding the bike since the popular shuttle in testing has it and people seem to enjoy it; the HMG is just a return on an old addition that has since been debated back in due to the common-ness of early evacuations over holding to wait out the perma-death respawn timer.
