Contributing to Thingino

We welcome and appreciate contributions from the community! There are several ways you can get involved and help improve Thingino:

  • Submit Pull Requests: If you have code improvements, bug fixes, or new features to contribute, feel free to submit pull requests to our GitHub repository. We review all submissions and work with contributors to integrate valuable changes into the project.

  • Create Issues: If you encounter any bugs, have suggestions for new features, or notice areas that need improvement, you can help by creating issues on our GitHub page. This helps us track and prioritize what needs to be addressed.

  • Update the Wiki: The Thingino wiki is a living document that can always benefit from updates. Whether it's correcting information, improving clarity, or adding new details, your contributions help keep the documentation current and useful.

  • Add New Wiki Articles: If you have expertise in a particular area or discover something that others might find useful, consider adding new articles to the wiki. This can range from tutorials and how-tos to more detailed technical explanations.

  • Donate Hardware: If you have Ingenic-based hardware that may not yet have full support in Thingino, consider donating it to the project. Your contribution will help us accelerate development and expand support for a wider range of devices.

  • Engage with the Community: Join the conversation! Participate in discussions, assist others with their questions, and share your knowledge. Your involvement strengthens the community and makes Thingino a better project for everyone.

  • Spread the Word: Help us grow the Thingino community by sharing your experiences with others. Whether it's on social media, in conversations with friends and family, or in tech forums, spreading the word about Thingino helps us reach new users and contributors.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for being part of the Thingino community!
