IMPORTANT: Notes on Marcy and Skylight

The MERCURY consortium provides two high-performance computing clusters called Marcy and Skylight. These two computers differ in their hardware, operating system, software, and queuing systems. Therefore, the aerosols scripts have been adapted on the back end to each computer and are not interchangeable across the two. The usage and front-end behavior of the scripts are identical and requires no special actions by the user.

Most importantly, note that the aerosols scripts use PBS/Torque to submit jobs on Marcy and SLURM to submit jobs on Skylight. The number of CPUs and RAM requests have also been adapted to each computer.
