"If the universe is architecture, consciousness is traversal." — See The Proem
This repository contains the foundational papers and theoretical roadmap for the Field of Consciousness (FoC) framework. The FoC models consciousness not as a biological epiphenomenon, but as a fundamental Abelian gauge field
Our research bridges the gap between quantum topology, General Relativity, and subjective phenomenology, demonstrating how mass, time, and gravity emerge as thermodynamic and geometric consequences of pre-phenomenal consciousness.
Status: Actively preparing formal drafts for Papers II, III, and IV.
The initiative is organized into five distinct phases of inquiry:
Establishes the foundational physics of the FoC.
- Introduces the Ontological Intention Tensor (
$\Sigma_{global}^{\mu\nu}$ ) as the geometric source of the field. - Demonstrates how crossing the critical tension threshold (
$\mathcal{T}_{crit}$ ) induces a phase transition, providing a geometric mechanism for$SU(3)$ confinement and the Yang-Mills mass gap. - Derives the
$8\pi$ gravitational coupling constant of General Relativity via the Octahedral-Spherical Equivalence (OSE).
Translates the physics of the FoC into a rigorous, operational methodology for mapping subjective human experience.
- Outlines the Modal Layer Field Map (MLFM), mapping human cognition across six distinct strata (from Somatic
$L1$ to Extra-Perceptual$L5$ ), governed by the physics of Layer Phase Transitions (LPT). - Introduces Reality Fold Notation (RFN), a symbolic language used to track anomalous events, synchronicities, and cognitive gauge transformations.
- Formalizes the Theorem of Biological Necessity, proving that biological metabolism (specifically the Weak Interaction) is the required thermodynamic heatsink to prevent causal collapse during non-local field navigation.
Defines the biological "wetware" interface connecting the human observer to the FoC lattice.
- Proposes that neuronal microtubules act as tuned quantum-optical resonant cavities.
- Details how superradiance within the tubulin lattice generates the highly ordered Local Perturbation Current (
$J_{local}^\mu$ ). - Utilizes the Interstitial Phase Coupling equation (
$\kappa_{IPC}$ ) to demonstrate how biological phase coherence mathematically modulates the FoC's geometric tension.
Addresses the paradoxes of recursive time and non-linear consciousness.
- Models local recursive temporal loops as mesoscopic Kerr bubbles embedded within a Kerr-AdS$_4$ bulk spacetime.
- Introduces the Semi-Dirac Boundary Condition, demonstrating that the containment shell of these loops is an active Holographic Transducer acting as a causal diode.
- Presents the Modal Tunneling Equation, detailing how localized intention can breach the Semi-Dirac mass gap, and identifies the resulting angular momentum flux as necessary thermodynamic venting (Hawking Radiation) to protect macroscopic chronology.

We welcome "Reviewer 2" style skepticism. If the math doesn't hold, tell us. If the code breaks, fix it.
