Deploying code written with Dev Build to RIO

The GradleRIO version is wrong (2024 instead of 2025).

We have not published a 2025 version of GradleRio yet.

In general the development build instructions work between the first beta and the end of the season. As breaking changes are merged in the summer, it very well may not work right now. Feel free to open issues on problems you find, but don't necessarily expect it to be painless.

One example is that epilogue will need manual stuff added to build.gradle that won't be necessary with the 2025 version. Vendor libraries are also not likely to work until they've been built against 2025 wpilib.

What is your end goal? For example, if it's to test out a particular new class or feature, it is likely easier to copy that class into your robot project and use the 2024 libraries.

You'll likely have slightly better luck with the latest 2024 GradleRio version (2024.3.2), rather then the alpha version. For example, the 2024 alpha was built aground gradle 8.1 not 8.5 that was used in season.
