first-time contribution

Hey all, I was looking at the 2027 project board trying to see where I might be able to help out. I have my local environment set up and am able to run gradle tasks to build various subprojects (I haven't tried a full build because that seems like it would take forever and a day).

Here's my question... I found this entry on the board and it seems simple enough to do. Tagging @PeterJohnson since he created the entry.

What's the best way to "claim it" so I'm not duplicating work with anyone else? Also, is there a scope to this, or is everything in scope (i.e. the rough equivalent of find-all/replace)? Any "gotchas" I should be aware of when starting this? I'm certainly not a notice to wpilib, but far from an expert on the innermost workings.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have a good way to assign items to external contributors. I've converted it to an issue for tracking purposes so you can comment there: #7943

Yes, it's pretty much a find/replace job, although it does ripple into examples and potentially docs.
